Mandalas for Mindfulness

Among visual art forms, building and coloring a mandala is particularly effective for stress relief and active meditation. The design starts in the innermost center of a circular grid, moving gradually to the outer edges in a rhythmic, intentional pattern. As we focus on one wedge at a time, we give our attention to each line’s shape, path and particular small journey, repeating the flow around the circle. It is easy to get lost - in the best, most freeing sense of the word – in the process and feel a sense of release as we draw simple shapes that create composite beauty.

With online access to the complete presentation, you can pause, rewind and move through the session at your own pace and on your own time.

Throughout the entire session, we’ll be guided by principles of mindfulness, being present in the moment and developing a mindset of growth and self-awareness. At several points along the way, we’ll reflect and redirect as needed to ensure your session is positive, affirming and satisfying.
